YouTube sponsorship rates in 2026: integrations, dedicated videos and Shorts

Updated 10 October 2026 · 4 min read · By the Growth Club team

YouTube sponsorships are usually priced on the average views a video gets in its first 30 days. A 60 to 90-second integration commonly goes for $15 to $35 per 1,000 views, a dedicated video for two to four times that, and a sponsored Short for a quarter to a half of an integration. Niche matters more on YouTube than anywhere else: finance and tech can command $30 to $50+ CPMs. On Collabstr, YouTube deals averaged $255 in 2025, the highest of any platform.

The four kinds of YouTube sponsorship

Format What it is Price vs an integration
Mention A quick 15 to 30-second shout-out 0.5 to 0.7×
Integration A 60 to 90-second segment inside your video 1× (the baseline)
Dedicated video The whole video is about the brand 2 to 4×
Sponsored Short A vertical video up to 3 minutes 0.25 to 0.5×

Price from your average views

Use the average views your videos get in their first 30 days (most sponsorship value lands then). Fee = average views ÷ 1,000 × CPM.

Typical CPMs for a YouTube integration are $15 to $35 (Modash, Influencer Marketing Hub), and at least double for a dedicated video.

By niche (1of10):

Niche Typical CPM
Finance $35 to $50+
Tech and B2B $30 to $50
Beauty $15 to $25
Gaming $10 to $20
Entertainment $8 to $15

Finance sponsorships come with extra legal rules: in the UK, promoting most investments, including crypto, can be a criminal offence unless an FCA-authorised firm has approved the promotion, and in the US the FTC and SEC have their own rules. Check them before you say yes.

Example: a tech channel averaging 40,000 views in 30 days, at a $35 CPM, would quote about $1,400 for an integration.

The calculator uses the higher of £20 to £40 per 1,000 average views or £15 to £30 per 1,000 subscribers for an integration, the same method as Brand Deals HQ.

Rates by channel size

Subscribers Integration (USD)
Under 100K under $500 to $1,500
100K to 500K $500 to $5,000
500K to 1M $5,000 to $20,000
1M+ $20,000 to $80,000+

What to include in a YouTube quote

  • The format and length of the segment, and where it sits in the video (early placement is worth more).
  • A link in the description and a pinned comment (standard).
  • How long the video stays up (permanent is normal, but agree it).
  • Paid usage if the brand wants to run the segment as an ad (priced on top: see usage rights pricing).
  • Exclusivity if they want you to avoid competitors.
  • Payment terms, often 50% upfront for larger deals.

Disclose it properly

Turn on the paid promotion setting in your video details in YouTube Studio, which adds a disclosure label at the start of the video, and say it in the video before the segment. In the UK, if the whole video is about the brand, the ASA expects viewers to know it’s an ad before they click, so put “Ad” in the title or thumbnail as well (ASA). Put “Ad” or “Sponsored by [Brand]” near the links in your description too. Legal disclosure is still your responsibility (YouTube Help). See #ad rules.

YouTube’s own brand deal tools

YouTube Creator Partnerships (formerly BrandConnect) connects brands with creators in the YouTube Partner Program. If you’re in the programme, at least 18 and based in an eligible country such as the UK or US, set up your profile so brands can find you (YouTube Help). If you’re not there yet, see YouTube monetisation requirements.

Frequently asked questions

How much do YouTubers charge for a sponsorship?

Most price integrations at $15 to $35 per 1,000 average views, more in finance and tech. Channels under 100,000 subscribers commonly charge up to about $1,500 per integration; channels over a million, $20,000 and up.

How much should I charge for a YouTube integration?

Take your average views in a video’s first 30 days, divide by 1,000 and multiply by a CPM for your niche. Example: 20,000 views at $25 = $500.

How much do sponsored YouTube Shorts pay?

Usually a quarter to a half of a long-form integration for the same channel, because Shorts views are cheaper for brands. Price them on your Shorts views, not your long-form views.

Is a dedicated video worth more than an integration?

Yes, usually two to four times more, because the whole video promotes the brand and it can take more of your audience’s goodwill.

How many subscribers do you need for sponsorships?

There’s no minimum for direct deals. Smaller channels in valuable niches (finance, software, tech) can get sponsorships early because their CPMs are high, though finance promotions come with extra legal rules.
