To join TikTok’s Creator Rewards Program in 2026 you need to be 18 or over, have a personal account with at least 10,000 followers and 100,000 video views in the last 30 days, and live in an eligible country, including the US and UK. You’re paid for qualified views on original videos of one minute or more. Here are the full requirements, how pay is worked out and TikTok’s other ways to earn.

Which videos earn

To earn, a video must be:

  • Original and made by you.
  • At least 1 minute long.
  • Posted after you join the programme.
  • Above 1,000 qualified For You feed views.

Not eligible: Duets, Stitches, Photo Mode posts, sponsored posts and videos linked to a paid Series.

How pay is worked out

TikTok pays a Standard Reward (qualified views multiplied by an RPM, the reward per 1,000 qualified views) plus an Additional Reward for content TikTok judges to be well-crafted, engaging and specialised.

A qualified view is a unique view of at least 5 seconds, from a viewer who didn’t mark it “not interested”, in an eligible country. Your RPM also reflects your audience’s “commercial value”, mainly their age and the local language (TikTok).

TikTok doesn’t publish fixed RPMs, and they vary by country, niche and audience. Track yours in TikTok Studio.

How to earn more from the programme

  • Make videos that hold attention past one minute. Structure them so the payoff comes at the end.
  • Target search. People who find you through search are high-intent viewers, so use the words they search for.
  • Choose evergreen topics that keep getting views for weeks.
  • Build an audience in eligible countries and in age groups advertisers value.
  • Stay original: reuploads and watermarked clips don’t qualify.
