TikTok sponsorship rates in 2026: what to charge per video

Updated 10 October 2026 · 4 min read · By the Growth Club team

TikTok sponsorships are best priced on your average views: common CPMs run from about $7 to $25 per 1,000 views, so a creator averaging 25,000 views might charge $175 to $625 a video, more in high-value niches. By follower tier, compiled ranges run from $50 to $200 for nano creators to $10,000+ for the biggest accounts, and the average TikTok deal on Collabstr was $186 in 2025. Spark Ads licensing is charged on top.

Why views matter more than followers on TikTok

TikTok’s For You feed shows videos to people who don’t follow you. TikTok itself says follower count isn’t a direct factor in what it recommends (TikTok). So a creator with 15,000 followers can average more views than one with 150,000. Brands know this, and they’ll ask for your average views.

Use the median of your last 10 to 15 videos, not your best one. Fee = average views ÷ 1,000 × CPM.

Typical TikTok CPMs: $7 to $25 (Modash); beauty around $10 to $20 (Shopify). Finance, tech and B2B niches sit higher. Finance sponsorships come with extra legal rules: in the UK, promoting most investments, including crypto, can be a criminal offence unless an FCA-authorised firm has approved the promotion, and in the US the FTC and SEC have their own rules. Check them before you say yes.

The calculator uses the higher of £12 to £25 per 1,000 average views or £4 to £8 per 1,000 followers, the same method as Brand Deals HQ, adjusted for engagement.

Spark Ads and paid usage

Brands often ask for a Spark Ads code so they can boost your video as an ad from your account. That’s paid usage, and it’s worth a lot to the brand:

  • Spark Ads licence: commonly 10% to 30% of your post rate, per month of use (Influencer Marketing Hub).
  • Other sources put paid usage at 30% of base per month or more (Influee, Later).

Agree the length of the authorisation (30, 60 or 90 days) and that it ends on a set date. More in usage rights pricing.

TikTok Shop commission vs a flat fee

Many brands on TikTok offer commission through TikTok Shop instead of, or as well as, a fee. To join TikTok Shop as an affiliate you need 1,000 followers in the US or 500 in the UK, and you must be 18+ (TikTok Shop US).

  • Flat fee: a fixed amount, whatever the sales.
  • Commission only: can pay well for products that sell fast on TikTok, but you carry the risk.
  • Hybrid: a lower fee plus commission. Often the best of both for products with proven demand.

If a brand offers commission only, ask for their past conversion data and consider a small fee on top.

Engagement benchmarks on TikTok

TikTok engagement is usually measured against views. Socialinsider put average brand engagement at about 3.9% of views in mid-2026, a little higher for small accounts (Socialinsider). Creator benchmarks vary widely depending on the formula used. Check yours with the engagement rate calculator and tell brands how you calculated it.

Frequently asked questions

How much do TikTok influencers charge per video?

From about $50 for nano creators to $10,000+ for accounts over a million followers. The best way to price your own videos is your average views times a CPM of roughly $7 to $25.

How much should I charge for a TikTok with 10K followers?

Look at your average views first. If you average 5,000 to 10,000 views, $50 to $250 is a common range for a sponsored video, more in high-value niches or with strong engagement.

Do TikTok creators get paid for Spark Ads?

They should. Spark Ads let the brand use your video as an ad, which is paid usage. Charge a licence fee for the period, commonly 10% to 30% of your post rate per month.

Is TikTok Shop commission better than a flat fee?

It depends on the product. Commission can beat a fee for products that already sell well on TikTok Shop. For new or untested products, ask for a flat fee or a fee plus commission.

Do TikTok sponsorships need to be disclosed?

Yes. TikTok requires you to turn on its content disclosure setting when you promote a brand, product or service, but the setting alone may not be enough. In the UK, the ASA expects a clear “Ad” label up front, and in the US the FTC expects a clear disclosure that’s hard to miss, such as “Ad” or “Sponsored”. See #ad rules.
